Matthew Barringer - Owner of Immigration Law Firm in Colorado

The recipient of a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Colorado, Matthew Barringer played on the varsity soccer team, then went on to play at the semi-pro level before pursuing a career in law. He earned a juris doctor from Oklahoma City School of Law, then took a position clerking for Judge Gerald Rafferty at the Arapahoe County District Court. Matthew Barringer began his career as an associate at Underhill and Underhill in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Mr. Barringer launched Barringer Law Firm, a private practice with a focus in immigration, criminal, and civil law, in 2007, and continues to serve as its lead attorney. In addition to managing the firm's attorneys and support staff, he represents clients in front of the Executive Office of Immigration Review at the municipal, state district, and federal court levels. Mr. Barringer has stopped the deportation of many clients and secured legal status for thousands of others in an attempt to keep immigrant families together. He keeps up to date with developments published by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He has been a volunteer coach with the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer program for more than a decade and enjoys running and playing tennis in his free time.
